Spring in Atlanta just hits different with the sunshine, the blooms, the neighborhood energy, and nowhere does the magic shine brighter than the Inman Park Festival & Tour of Homes, happening this weekend! Set in one of Atlanta’s oldest, most picturesque neighborhoods, this beloved celebration transforms historic streets into a vibrant playground of music, art, food, and family fun.

And here’s the heart‑warming part:

This is Atlanta’s largest all‑volunteer festival powered entirely by neighbors.

It takes hundreds of volunteers to bring this joyful weekend to life, and yes… volunteers are still needed!

🎉 A Weekend Full of Family Fun

Whether you are bringing toddlers, teens, grandparents, or the whole crew, there is something for everyone:

Admission to the festival, parade, kids’ zone, and entertainment is FREE.
The Tour of Homes requires a ticket, which can be purchased online or at the Euclid & Elizabeth ticket booth.

🏡 Step Inside History: The Tour of Homes

If your family loves architecture, storytelling, or simply peeking inside gorgeous homes (don’t we all?), the Tour of Homes is a must‑do. Wander through beautifully preserved Victorians, charming bungalows, and historic spaces that showcase the character of Inman Park, Atlanta’s first planned suburb, dating back to the late 1800s.  Tickets are valid all weekend, and you can explore at your own pace.

💛 Volunteers Still Needed.  Be Part of the Magic

This festival only happens because neighbors show up.

From staffing the Tour of Homes to helping with the parade, greeting guests, supporting artists, and keeping everything running smoothly, volunteers are the heartbeat of this event.

A few hours of your time = a huge impact.
It really is a fun, meaningful way for families, teens, and community‑minded folks to give back and to help keep this cherished tradition thriving for another 50+ years.  If you love this festival, consider being part of the team that makes it happen.

🚶‍♀️ Getting There (Insider Tips!)

Parking is extremely limited, and this neighborhood was built long before parking decks existed. Festival organizers recommend:

  • Taking MARTA to Inman Park/Reynoldstown Station (it drops you right at the edge of the festival!) I think MARTA is still legally FREE right now due to them switching gate systems.
  • Walking or biking is free; bike plus bike valet is available
  • Using rideshare and being dropped off a few blocks away

Hint: Bring comfy shoes, sunscreen, and a sense of adventure.

🌟 Make It a Weekend to Remember

The Inman Park Festival is not just an event.  It is a celebration of community, creativity, and the spirit of Atlanta. Come for the parade, stay for the music, explore the homes, meet the neighbors, and soak up the joy that fills every corner of this historic neighborhood.  Whether you are a longtime fan or a first‑time visitor, this is the perfect way to welcome spring with your family.
