ATLANTA – Theatrical Outfit (TO) proudly announces the launch of Season 49 with Tennessee Williams’ deeply southern classic, The Glass Menagerie, running October 29 – November 23, 2026, at the Balzer Theater at Herren’s in downtown Atlanta. This groundbreaking revival redefines the “classics” genre with an electric new vision, bold theatre for a bold city, right in the Heart of Atlanta.

Tennessee Williams’ Greatest Play (Time Out) returns to Atlanta with a fresh perspective that highlights the enduring power of great writing and stunning performance. Known for its semi-autobiographical exploration of memory, longing, and dreams, The Glass Menagerie remains a captivating work that continues to resonate with audiences across generations.

Leading this bold revival is Atlanta and Broadway’s Terry Burrell (Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill) as “The Mother.” She is joined by TO favorites:
- Devon Hales (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?) as “The Daughter”
- Stephen Ruffin (Tiny Beautiful Things) as “The Son”
- Matt Mercurio (The Wolf at the End of the Block) as “The Gentleman Caller”
The production is directed by Matt Torney, with dramaturgy by Addae Moon and an award-winning design team including Isabel and Moriah Curley-Clay (Scenic Design), April Andrew Carswell (Costume Design), Antoinette Black (Wig Design), Ben Rawson (Lighting Design), Kendall Simpson (Composition & Sound Design), and Caroline Cook (Properties Design).
