Mark your calendars for December 6th & 7th, 2025! Santa’s sleigh is making its very first stop at Zoo Atlanta, and you’re invited to join the jolly fun! The beloved Cookies with Santa event is back and better than ever, offering families a magical way to kick off the holiday season.
🎄 What to Expect
This festive experience is packed with holiday cheer for all ages. Each 30-minute session includes:
- 📸 A Professional Santa Photo: Capture the moment with a high-quality digital photo of your family with Santa for the perfect or imperfectly perfect holiday cards and social sharing!
- 🍪 Holiday Nibbles: Enjoy cookies and juice, straight from Santa’s snack list.
- 🎶 Festive Sights & Sounds: Snap holly-jolly photos at themed spots while jingle-bell tunes fill the air.
- ✂️ Cheerful Crafts: Get creative with hands-on holiday crafts for little elves and grown-ups alike.
✨ What’s New for 2025?
- Smaller Sessions, Bigger Magic: With fewer guests per time slot, your family will have more space and time to soak in the holiday spirit.
- Digital Photo Delivery: All Santa photos will be available for free download, making them easy to share, print, and post!
- More Session Options: Choose from “Merry Members,” “Sleigh Bells & Safari,” or “Snow & Glow” sessions to pair your Santa visit with daytime Zoo fun or the dazzling IllumiNights lantern experience. More info here.

Pre-registration is required. Please note there will be no walk-up tickets will be available, and this event has sold out in the past!

Every attendee (adult or child) must have a ticket, even if they do not plan to be photographed.
🕒 Session Details
- Each session lasts 30 minutes, giving you plenty of time to meet Santa and enjoy the activities before heading out to explore the Zoo.
- Timed wristbands are required for entry and will be provided upon arrival. You may remove them for your photo with Santa.
- Arrive on time: Early guests may be asked to explore the Zoo until their session begins. Late arrivals will be accommodated as space allows.
🐾 Extend the Fun
Depending on your session type, you can enjoy even more Zoo magic:
- Merry Members: Access the Zoo during daytime hours starting at 9:30 a.m.
- Sleigh Bells & Safari: Explore the Zoo before or after your Santa session.
- Snow & Glow: Pair your visit with IllumiNights: A Lantern Festival starting at 5:30 p.m.

🐶 A Note on Pets
While we love animals, yes, we do; however, no pets are permitted at the Zoo (service animals are welcome per Zoo Atlanta’s policy).
