Get ready for a cultural celebration like no other! The Native American Festival & Pow Wow is back at Stone Mountain Park from October 30 to November 2, and it’s the perfect way for families to experience the energy, color, and tradition of Georgia’s largest Native American gathering.

Named a Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Society, this four-day festival is packed with engaging activities, educational experiences, and unforgettable performances for all ages.

🎶 What to Expect

Located in the Historic Square, the festival showcases the rich heritage of Native American communities from across the U.S. and Central America. Highlights include:

  • Inter-tribal Dance & Drum Competitions
    • Feel the rhythm and witness the power of traditional dance as performers compete in vibrant regalia.
  • Authentic Craft Demonstrations
    • Watch artisans create pottery, flint tools, bows, and more using traditional techniques.

🥁 Pow Wow Competition Details

  • Dates: Saturday, November 1 & Sunday, November 2
  • Who: Drummers, Singers, and Dancers
  • Registration: Saturday, 9 AM–12 PM at JJ Maddox General Store
  • Grand Entry: Begins at 12:30 PM each day
  • End Times: 6 PM Saturday, 5 PM Sunday
     Note: Participants must compete both days to be eligible for prize winnings.
