Spook-tacular Fun at Children’s Museum of Atlanta This October 🎃

From Monster Acting to Trick-or-Treating, It’s a Month of Magic, Music & Messy Fun!

Calling all little monsters, curious scientists, and pint-sized performers. October at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta is packed with thrills, chills, and hands-on fun for the whole family! Whether your kiddos love to craft haunted houses, explore skeleton science, or dance in costume, there’s something magical waiting around every corner.

🧪 A Month of Halloween-Themed Adventures
 Now through November 4th, the Museum is bubbling over with creative, spooky, and silly activities that blend science, art, and imagination. Kids can:

  • Take center stage in a Monster Acting Class
  • Craft their own haunted houses in the Art Studio
  • Discover the not-so-scary side of bones at the Science Bar, where they will match animal X-rays and build Play-Doh skeletons
  • Enjoy a spooky twist on story time and interactive performances of “Spoonful of Frogs” on weekends at 11 a.m. and daily at 3 p.m.

🍬 Trick-or-Treat Weekend – Saturday & Sunday, October 25th –26th
 Get those costumes ready! Enjoy two days of frightfully fun festivities with music, sweet treats, spooky crafts, a DJ dance party, and even life-sized haunted house building!

🖌️ Weekly Themed Fun for Little Learners

  • Building Blocks (Weekdays, 10 a.m.–12 p.m.)
     Toddlers and preschoolers can explore early learning through guided play and story time at 11:30 a.m.
  • Artsy Mondays (October 20th and 27th)
     Spin up some fun with salad spinner painting and cozy story time at noon.
  • Tinkerin’ Tuesdays
     Design and test your own Marble Run tracks—perfect for budding engineers!
  • Messy Thursdays
     Dive into Toothbrush Art and swirl your way into a colorful, creative mess.
  • Jammin’ Fridays
     Craft ghost tambourines, then dance and sing your heart out in a joyful jam session.

🛒 New! Revamped Publix Grocery Store Exhibit
 Little shoppers can now explore a refreshed, interactive grocery store experience that is just perfect for imaginative play and learning through roleplay.

📚 Do Not Miss: The Questioneers Exhibit
 Running through January 4, 2026, this immersive exhibit brings the beloved characters from Andrea Beaty and David Roberts’ best-selling books to life. Kids can step into the worlds of Ada Twist, Rosie Revere, Iggy Peck, Sofia Valdez, and Aaron Slater to celebrate creativity, curiosity, and courage.
