Event Details:
This year’s event will be hosted by the Atlanta Wheels Down South Chapter of Women in Aviation. The event will expose girls and boys to aviation through challenging and exciting activities. We plan to spark an interest in aviation to all of those who attend, by introducing them to role models and educating them in a fun and supportive atmosphere!
Girls in Aviation Day will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Peachtree Dekalb Airport from 10:00am - 2:00pm.

Students 1st-12th grade are welcome. Registration is FREE for students and their chaperones. Attendee Sign Up Link
Chaperones (adults) MUST get a ticket for the event and MUST accompany students at ALL times.
What to Expect:
At the 2025 Girls In Aviation Day, you'll have the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of aviation alongside other aviation enthusiasts. This event aims to inspire and empower girls to pursue their dreams in aviation.
Throughout the day, you can participate in various hands-on STEM and engineering activities, including flight simulators, aircraft displays, and interactive workshops. You'll also get the chance to meet and learn from experienced female pilots, engineers, and aviation professionals.
Whether you're curious about flying, interested in aircraft mechanics, or simply want to broaden your horizons, this event offers something for everyone. So, come prepared to have a fun-filled day and discover the exciting possibilities that aviation holds for you!
Please note that this is an in-person event, and all necessary safety measures will be in place to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone. There will be a 100 yard walk from the entrance gate to the hangar, please check the box when registering if you will need assistance.
