Lights, camera, action! If your tween or teen has a love for storytelling, acting, or all things behind the scenes, Camp Flix is the summer adventure they won’t want to miss. Back for its 13th blockbuster year, Camp Flix is the Southeast’s premier filmmaking camp, offering young creators a real-world experience in the art of movie-making, and there’s still time to grab a spot in the July 13–18 session at Emory University!
This immersive, one-week camp in Atlanta is tailored for kids aged 11–17, providing hands-on learning in everything from screenwriting and directing to acting and editing. Campers work together in small crews to bring their original short films to life, gaining real-world insight into the film industry from professionals who live and breathe the craft.
Whether your child is a budding cinematographer or simply curious about the magic of the movies, Camp Flix is designed to meet all experience levels. Industry experts guide each camper from idea pitch to final cut, culminating in a red carpet Friday night gala premiere where families can cheer them on in true Hollywood style.
The camp offers Overnight and Day Camp options, and campers even learn how to market and distribute their work, adding a modern twist to classic storytelling skills.
