Get ready, Atlanta and Macaroni KID families. Mystery Inc. is on the case. The beloved gang from SCOOBY-DOO!™ has brought their investigative skills to the Children’s Museum of Atlanta with the thrilling SCOOBY-DOO!™ Mansion Mayhem exhibit.
This interactive, adventure-packed experience, created by the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences (WBDGE), invites families to step into the world of supernatural sleuthing. Young detectives and their grown-up sidekicks will work alongside Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred to analyze clues, crack puzzles, and uncover the mystery lurking within the haunted mansion.
A Mystery Worth Solving
Fans of all ages will get a chance to roam through eerie mansion rooms, each packed with interactive elements. In the Hall of Portraits, Daphne leads guests through a spooky array of moving-eyed portraits that conceal hidden villain controls. Over in the Villain’s Tinkering Workshop, Fred steps up to guide visitors in crafting clever traps. Of course, Scooby and Shaggy will be exactly where you would expect them, in the kitchen! Families can join their antics with a sandwich-stacking competition and the iconic ghost chase.
Velma’s Library Music Room brings brainpower to the forefront, where kids can solve an organ puzzle and use the famous Clue Analyzer to reveal the villain’s identity. Every twist and turn in this exhibit encourages teamwork, problem-solving, and plenty of giggling, just like the classic animated series has done for more than five decades.
Summer Fun with a Dash of Nostalgia
“When summertime hits Atlanta, families look for experiences that entertain and engage—and this exhibit delivers both,” said Edwin Link, executive director of the Children’s Museum of Atlanta. “It offers that rare blend of nostalgia for adults and active play for kids, all wrapped in a setting that fuels curiosity and connection.”
The exhibit runs through Sunday, September 7, 2025, giving families ample time to dive into the mystery, enjoy interactive fun, and create new Scooby-Doo memories together in the present. The experience is generously supported by the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs and Fulton County Board of Commissioners.
